Valerie McWhorter

With a rich history spanning over 15 years, my dedication to the dance community began by supporting studio operations and managing recital tickets. Having witnessed the journey of dancers like Mallory through high school, and now seeing my own grandchildren embrace the art at BDC, my commitment continues for many years to come. I recall the early days of student placement, meticulously done on paper in Miss Lawan’s living room. After a brief hiatus during the pandemic, I eagerly returned, adapting to new apps and systems to further contribute to the vibrant world of dance.

Rebecca Jorgensen

Rebecca Jorgensen has spent the last 13 years at BDC as a dance mom. She is excited to officially join the BDC team by supporting the studio in the office. In the last few years she has had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for Peninsula Dance Theatre, the non-profit performing arts company which calls BDC its home. As well as serving on the Board, Rebecca has volunteered in PDT’s costume shop since 2017. She very much enjoys helping the dancers look their best and feel confident in their costumes while on stage.
