In our Excel Program, dancers immerse themselves in multiple ballet classes weekly to build a rock-solid technical foundation. Beyond the barre, they’ll love exploring the rhythms and expression of Jazz, Modern, and Tap.
This intensive schedule does more than refine technique; it cultivates a deep sense of confidence, physical endurance, and creative problem-solving skills. Here, the "straight lines" of the studio lead to friendships that last a lifetime. Backed by expert faculty and a supportive peer group, your dancer will learn to collaborate, lead, and shine in an environment that truly supports their unique journey.

What your dancer will experience during these two months:
Progressive ballet training specifically designed to increase strength, flexibility, and precision over 8 weeks.
An intensive focus on building physical endurance and cognitive problem-solving through layered movement concepts.

Consistent feedback from our dedicated faculty to help each dancer reach their individual artistic goals.
Call load recommendation:
Successful dancers in the is program take a minimum of 2 Ballet classes and 1 Jazz, Modern, or Tap class per week.

Your Dancer’s Wonderland Adventure
From the first morning stretch to the final royal curtsy, your child will thrive through:
The Grace of the White Rabbit: Mastering the elegance of Classical Ballet and the poise of traditional variations.
A Curious Journey: Exploring the nonsensical world of Wonderland through imaginative, movement-based games that build coordination and confidence.
The Queen’s Court: Creating crafts and bonding over daily treats with new friends.
During this 3 day camp, dancers will get to take ballet, play games and learn a classical variation.
They will also be provided with daily snacks and themed crafts.
Requires a $25.00 nonrefundable deposit

Dress code:
Ballet-
Option 1: Red leotard leotard, pink or flesh tone tights, pink ballet or flesh tone shoes (Shoes and tights must be the same color).
Option 2: Short sleeved white t-shirt, black tights or jazz pant/shorts, black or white ballet shoes, and a dance bag.
Modern-
Option 1: Any color/style of leotard, pink or black tights, fitted shorts or warm-up gear, bare feet, and hair pulled back.
Option 2: Fitted shirt or tank top, tights, shorts, or jazz pants, and bare feet.
Tap and Jazz- Jazz pants, capris, or shorts, fitted t-shirt or tank top, appropriate shoes, and hair pulled back.

1. FIRST TIME?
Start your Registration by selecting the registration box below and easily create your account with your email and password.

2. PAYMENT
Input your preferred card information to have stored securely on file in your account.

3. CLASSES
All new students must be pre approved for classes, we will reach out to you shortly.

4. MONTHLY PAYMENTS
Monthly tuition payments are processed on the first of each month. Enrollment fees are annual.
HAPPINESS GUARANTEE
Worry free enrollment! We’re confident you’ll love it, but if after four weeks your child is not feeling confident and would like to drop the class, simply let us know before the end of the month and no future payments will be taken.

It's a fun way for dancers to stay connected and build lifelong friends.
Physical Fitness - It's no secret that dance is healthy for the heart, it'll also put a smile on your dancers face while experiencing kinesthetic learning and physical fitness.
Boosts Confidence - With children's bodies constantly growing and changing, they move a little differently and feel a little funny after a summer of growth spurts. With dancing throughout the summer, they won't notice those little changes.

At the Excel level, dancers have the opportunity to take a variety of dance styles- Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Jazz. They should enroll in 2 ballet classes, and which ever styles look fun to them!

Parents with children of any age can watch our classes! We have a lobby area downstairs with viewing windows.

Yes! Students who have had 1 year of ballet and are 7 years old by the performance date are invited to audition for The Nutcracker.

We want to make sure our dancers are staying safe and hydrated during their classes, so we ask that they bring a water bottle into the studio and place it in a cubby to reduce the traffic going in and out of the studio during class time. They will be given 1 water break half way through class, and can take additional sips of water if need (especially in the warmer months).

The recital dance will be taught and rehearsed in class for about 20min per class. There will be a dress rehearsal in the studio and at the theatre prior to the show. Please see our Recital 101 for more detailed info.

PARKING:
Use street parking on chester ave and walk your dancer to the bdc lobby. after you arrive, we ask that an adult stay in the building for dancers who are ages 6 and under. we invite you to enjoy the comforts of our lobby with free wifi.
